Father's Day Gift Guide

I love Joe. He's a great dad to the boys, and a great wife husband to me. If I'm being honest, I don't often give him the credit he deserves, but with Father's Day coming up, there's no excuse to not spoil him. I used to love getting my own dad a special gift for Father's day when I was a nipper, and I know Dylan is already excited to pick something out too. Although if I let Dylan have his way, Joe would end up with a fidget spinner or a Pokemon-related toy.

Maybe calling Joe a gamer is a bit too strong, but he currently has an Xbox One and always says how he never has time to play on his games. As they tend to be a bit more on the gruesome and gory side, he can't exactly play them when the kids are awake. In comes Nintendo Switch! I think everyone has fond memories of playing some sort of Nintendo device, and the Switch is the latest best seller. Joe really wants to play on the new Legend of Zelda game, and I know Dylan really wants to play the Super Mario games too! As it's more family friendly, Joe would get more use time out of this, and maybe the dad in your life will too!
Sticking with tech for a bit, the Amazon Fire Stick with Alexa Voice Remote has been on my radar for a little while. Everyone and their dog seems to be getting a Fire Stick, and now I think it's time we did as well. The Amazon Prime shows all seem to be really highly rated, so I'd love to find out the hype.

Although Joe's beard isn't quite to Viking standards, he does take care of his facial fuzz so a beard balm is a must have. You can get all sorts for beards these days, so a beard grooming kit might be a good place to start. They have one for all price ranges, so if you're feeling like treating your papa then this is definitely a good place to check out.

I always think Father's Day is a good opportunity to buy a special tipple, and although I can't break the bank with an 20 year old scotch, I could definitely see Joe enjoying some Kraken Black Spiced Rum. We tried a Kraken cocktail while back, and we love recreating them at home, so this would be a perfect addition to our drinks cabinet.

Dad's are always on the go, and especially with Joe being a chef - so comfortable shoes are a must. When he's not working in his heavy boots, Joe loves to wear his Vans. With Vans releasing amazing collaborations recently, the Vans x Peanuts slip-on trainers look amazing and I'm half-temped to buy some for myself instead. Alas, it's Father's Day not Chelsea's Day, so I guess I'll have to treat Joe instead!

So there we have it, a little gift guide for Father's Day. I hope I've helped a few of you!
