The To-Read List #1

If you use Goodreads, you'll know that you can set up little challenges, to help you up your reading game. Luckily for me, I'm 4 books ahead of my reading challenge, having read 19 outta 20 books. Now, after congratulating myself for such a great feat, my brain has now decided it doesn't want me to finish reading that illusive last book. *shakes fist at brain*

I'm currently reading On The Road, which is a classic, and Joe's apparently read it twice. I'm about a halfway through, and I'm giving myself the mini-challenge to finish reading it by November 1st. Who doesn't love a challenge within a challenge?! Once I've finished, I can happily delve into my to-read list, yay!

I've already read High Fidelity and The Curious Incident before, but I'm looking forward to rereading them. I asked for Pullman's Grimm Tales last Christmas, so I'm hoping I can dip into it before Christmas is here again. Considering the amount of books I ask for, I really need to read what I already have! I bought Landline and Wonder in the same shopping trip, a few months ago, when I also bought The Knife of Never Letting Go. I lapped up the Chaos Walking series - and you should read it too - but these got left on the bookshelf. Never fear, though, as I'm determined to make these books the last reads of 2014!

Have you read any of these books? Do you have a to-read list?
