In With The New

Hello everyone! I thought I would lift the silence after my weekend at Festival No.6 with a post on some new stuff in my life. I'm nice like that, you see. I was going to dive right in and tell you all about my weekend, but I'm not emotionally ready to let it out of my mind yet. I'm not calling this a 'haul' post, as I find that word really odd, and I'm only including like, three things. Of course, it goes without saying that I'm not bragging (maybe a little bit) so please don't hate on me.

First up is the beautiful Letters of Note signed hardback book I bought at Festival No.6 - what, of course it has it's own bookshop - and I couldn't be happier that it's now in my possession. I was going to ask for a copy for Christmas, but I have it now and yeah. It's amazing. If you don't follow @lettersofnote on twitter, then you're seriously missing out.

I was shocked when I saw the Superdrug in the next town over stocked Makeup Revolution products. I picked up the Girls On Film palette after falling in love with it at the counter. When looking online, I couldn't decide between this or the What You Waiting For? palette, but this one won me over in store. I think this will be great over the coming months as I've got my birthday, gigs and Christmas to get all prettied up for. I'm pretty excited to try this out, I've got to admit. It looks absolutely lovely, and for £6, how could you complain?

And last but not least, I bought these adorable Dumbo slippers from Primark today. Dumbo is my favourite Disney character, and I'm so glad I have these snuggly things to keep my toes warm. Sorry for the instagram photo, but they're too nice to take off and photograph properly! These were £4 and I'd happily pay about ten times that for anything Dumbo related!

So, that's what's new with me! Would anyone like to know more about anything? (I know you're dying to know more about the slippers...) I'd be more than happy to dedicate a larger post on something if anyone wants me to. You guys know I live to serve, right?

I need to go to a festival with a book store because that just sounds incredible!!
DUMBO SLIPPERS. They're amazing! I think they would bring up too much emotion every time I looked down at them though, that's a pretty emotional film - I don't know if you know! X
