101 things in 1001 Days #4

So proud. My defining moment.
1. Finish my second year of my foundation degree and upgrade to a real degree!
This was a work in progress on my last update, but now I can safely say that I did it! I'm still waiting on a few marks (and my overall grade) but I've definitely got a place for final year, and I've picked some pretty exiting modules!

5. Have some work published
Yeah, so I totally have an article about Justin Bieber published in an actual student magazine. And his continuing to be a total twatbadger is keeping it relevant! Yay!

65. Write a song about Pointless
After watching Eurovision 2012 and hearing that a song about Facebook had to be changed in the live shows (as not to promote it) I decided that I would write a song about TV show Pointless and enter it into Eurovision. It may be two years later, but good golly, I did it! Now, who wants to help me record it and reach European stardom? Anyone?

So, I have a kind of dilemma. I'm really struggling to achieve anything from my 101 in 1001 list. A lot of the things I've put on there can only be achieved after I've completed an existing goal. Such as 'make three things using a sewing machine'. I know, I put in my June mini-goals thing that I want to buy a sewing machine (and it's also on my 101 in 1001 list) but, until I have a sewing machine, I can't sew. Another example I've put is going abroad to five different places. I don't even have a passport, so until I do that and then save for a bunch of holidays, then they can't be achieved.

I kind of feel like I've set myself up for a fall, and it shouldn't be like that. So reader, friend, I want to ask you this - is it too late to start over? Am I allowed to do that? I feel like I'm letting myself down, but I know I'll be upset if I only achieve 20 things...

  3. I feel like I'm really struggling with my list too. A lot of them are things that I no longer want to do like: scuba dive, write a list of my 100 favourite quotes. Also two of mine are 'give blood' and 'find out my blood type' and I tried to but when I went I was told I didn't have good veins and I shouldn't come back for a few years :(

  4. Ah, that sucks! I'm re-writing mine, but it's so hard coming up with replacements for some of them! xx
