Business Time

Earlier in the year, I read plenty of blog posts sharing the goodies sent to bloggers by Viking so I couldn't believe my luck when I was given the opportunity to pick some stationary things for myself. Throughout May, I know I'm going to be using these for all my last minute work sessions! Yep, that's right, I went down the super boring route and picked out a few bits to help me with uni deadlines and the like. Plus, you might not realise that the title for this post isn't what it may seem...

The Pukka Pad Executive Project Books are actually for me to use next year as I'm definitely going to be taking plenty of notes during third year. This year I've been using A5 notebooks, which are good and all that, but if I need to take a page out and put them with my research folder, it looks a bit scruffy. These project books have ring binder holes after the perforated edge, which means they'll stay in tip-top condition. Another reason why I wanted to move up to A4 is so I can convince Joe that I need this bag in my life. Isn't it wonderful? Swoon.

I felt like the highlighters were definitely a *must have* as my current highlighters are running out of juice. Sadly, not because I've been highlighting like crazy, but because Dylan recently discovered them. Big sighs from me. I also picked these fine liners as I thought they would be helpful when I do mounds and mounds of copy editing and proof reading. I'm supposed to master the art of copywriting marks, so a red fine liner is essential. I feel like a school teacher when I use copywriting marks, except it's usually my own work I have to edit!

Now, I'm not 100% sure why I plumped for paper clips. I don't use them all that often, but maybe it's because I didn't own any? Who knows? Anyways, I thought they'd be useful with my editing and keeping all the bits and bobs together in my research folders. I think I had narrowed my choices down to these paper clips and a pack of chocolate but as it was Easter, I thought it would be best to stay away from chocolate. Little did I know that I would only get one (!!!) easter egg. Oh well, who needs chocolate when you have 500 paper clips? Maybe I could make a paper clip chain necklace?

Have you gone stationery mad recently? Or do you have any study tips for me? I've been procrastinating so much this week...
