D is for...

Dylan!

I had considered writing about something else beginning with D (dresses, mostly) but I thought I may as well give my little guy some blog-air space. That, and he always seems to be pretty popular on here!

So, where do I start with Dylan? Having just turned two in September, I feel like now we are really getting his proper personality, and what a character he is. He is very much on the cusp of grasping the English language, and tends to piece together small sentences. He says cute things, and funny things and rather naughty things - (it rhymes with "sit" and you can thank his uncle Jonny for that!) - but he just loves talking. Even if we clearly have no idea what he is going on about, he won't let it stop him. He sort of sounds like a cross between a minion and a French person.

His favourite things include Despicable Me minions, playing on Temple Run (and being really good at it) and cake. It's true what they say, the apple really doesn't fall far from the tree! I think Dylan has a good mixture of traits he has gained from Joe and I, which is always nice. I've got to be very honest and tell you that if you'd asked me five years ago whether or not I wanted children, I would have sharply told you no. It just didn't seem like any part of my "life plan". But, plans change and now I have the best child ever. Fact.

I'll stop chattering now and just show you some of his best work...
