A Sort-of Catch Up.

Gee, being back at uni is really throwing off my groove. Last year I absolutely loved the place, and now I cannot wait to get that coveted break at Christmas. I feel rather silly for this, as my biggest uni-related woe is down to my own research-rubbishness. Is that a thing? I'm making it a thing. Briefly put, I am crap with research. It's always my lowest marking point, and I honestly have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I look at my friends work, and I can't see what I lack. But, there's something, and I hate it. So of course this year, instead of one research folder, I need to produce three. Or four. I don't even know anymore!

Right, enough of the negativity! I wanted to show you my hair. If you've got me on twitter or instagram, you'll already have seen it but if not, then here we go. Please excuse the instagram filters, but yeah, it's for your benefit really!
These photos really highlight my lack of top lip, wow.
As you can see, I got it chopped quite a bit and then dyed it all "darkest brown" which turns out is black. Thanks hairdye! Luckily, I think I am working the black a bit, but I am hoping it will settle down within the next few washes! In the second photo, I'm looking a *bit* glam as I went out to Bristol on Sunday night with Amy (Joe's sister) and her friend Steph who loves up North. It was the first time I'd actually met Steph, as she's been travelling around the globe but she was just lovely! As you can imagine, Sunday night wasn't the busiest or most exciting times to be out but we had a great time chatting and just throwing some amazing shapes out on the dance floor.

I'm back at uni tomorrow, after a spot of Christmas present buying (I'm terrible, but I know you guys have started thinking about the 'dreaded' C word already!) and a small trip to Primark. I should be feeling all excited about the idea, but I'm really not. Gah, has anyone else got the second year blues?

    1. Gah, tell me about it. When I dyed it everything looked all dark and one colour, and now the ends have lightened a bit so I still have a silly ombre effect :/
