Wondering Wednesday #8

Howdy, friends! Wednesday has come around again, and I've been in a bit of a muddle as to what to dedicate this week's WW to. I was going to write about one topic, but I realised my B Is For.. post was something similar and I didn't want to bore you all twice.

Instead, I thought I'd pick my favourite topic and just speak about myself. I finally have my contact lens trial starting tomorrow, I can't even remember how long ago I started this journey on being glassesless. We've borrowed Joe's mum's car, so we're hoping to pick up a few bits and pieces - namely a bed for Monty as his old one is a bit ragged - as well as giving me the gift of sight. What else have I been up to?

Ah yes, I smashed my phone screen. When I say "I smashed my phone screen", I mean "Joe dropped my phone outside and smashed my phone screen". I've been putting him on a little guilt trip about it, and hopefully I'll get extra presents for my birthday (he's so lucky to have me, right?) It's not all bad news though, as when I asked facebook if anyone was selling a mobile, my cousin piped in and said she was selling her iPhone 5. Result! Naturally, since deciding to buy that, the first thing I have looked into is buying some protective covers for it.

I really like this one from here.
Lisette included it in a post ages ago and it's been in the back of my mind.
Anything else? Ah yes, I had to go to uni and enrol today. It was a bit of a shock to see that I had to pay £40 studio fees, but it had to be done. I met up with some of the girls on my course and we had lunch after enrolling, which was fun. I was a bit of a pain, with my lack of hearing, so my speaking volume was all over the place. It's not fun thinking you sound like you're underwater!

I'm hoping that this week I can finally post my B Is For... post, and then maybe write up a few of the other letters so that they're ready when I need them. As well as being organised, this will help me to not forget what I actually want to write about! I've got so many different notes dotted about, here and there, that sometimes I feel like I need a note to tell me where my notes are.

So that's it for today, hopefully in my next post I can tell you all that my ears are fixed!

  1. Hey, I have phone cases! They're here on my Etsy shop. Could probably design one for you, too - or for extra protection, make you a photo-printed padded phone cover.

Now that I have unsolicitedly promoted my product, dude, ouch about your phone screen. But I'm glad you got a new one like that. I'm hoping I can swing a Kindle from someone upgrading to the new one, maybe. Maybe. We shall see.

    1. Oh wow, they're purdy! When I do eventually get my hands on a the phone, I shall have a look in greater detail :)

  2. I have thought about contacts, but not made that step. although i would laser eye surgery lol! That phone case is lovely :-) welcome to the i phone club!!! ha x

    1. Oh my god, it is so difficult! It took me at least half an hour to take them out today, I must have done about eight mini cries! I would quite like laser eye surgery, but I think I'll wait for technology to get a bit better first haha :) x

I love hearing your comments, but if you've got a questions you could always ask me on twitter for a speedier response - @Chelsealiml
