Friends, alalapupulala.

Aw, this is going to be a bit of sentimental post, I reckon! Since moving south in September, I'm sure my northern friends were worried I'd replace them with farmer versions of themselves, but that isn't the case. Not because I haven't tried, though haha!

I don't have just one best friend, as I like to spread myself around a bit (classy, Chelsea) and share the love. My best friends are Joe, obviously, Anth, Cally and Abi. I have known them all various amounts of times, and I think I've fallen out with all of them except Cally, so she should probably be my best friend if that's the case.

Me & my man.
Isn't he bloody handsome? Ah, those eyes. *ahem* Before we were together, we were friends at college. How romantic, I hear you cry. When we first met, we bonded over a shared love of Prince, The Smiths and Daft Punk, and then we bonded over things like Flight of the Conchords and the jumpers his nana knits for him. His friend started dating my friend, and then we started hanging out a bit more. We had a free lesson together, so we would either go for a walk somewhere, or I'd make him buy me a sausage roll - see, this is how classy I am. I denied for ages that he fancied me, or that I fancied him, as I just didn't think it was possible. But alas, we ended up together and it's the happiest I've ever been. I've got a lot to thank him for, and I hope I make him half as happy.

Me, Cally and Anth
I cheated a bit and found a picture with the three of us on it. I met Anth and Cally when I moved schools in year 10. Well, that's a lie actually, as I'd met Cally a few years earlier when I was 10 or something, and Anth didn't even go to my school. Anyways, we all lived in this rather rubbish village in the North East and I'm not entirely sure what made the three of us best pals. Cally loves welsh rockers Manic Street Preachers, and Anth loves Girls Aloud. I reckon I must be the glue that holds us together as I love them both :) Through thick and thin, we've stuck together and I cannot wait for them to come down and visit me as I'm tired of doing the 12 hour round trip up to them!

Abi and I
Ah, my longest serving friend. We became best friends in year five, and since then I don't think I've ever met somebody who I can talk so freely with. We've had some quite electric falling-outs, but I'm so glad we always managed to patch things up again. We have a lot of those "do you remember that time..." stories and they still make me laugh. I also love how despite the fact we hadn't seen each other in a few years, we instantly went back to how it should be. That's true friendship, that is.

I have to warn you, this song lives constantly in my head so it may take over yours!
